Forth Pipe Organs were called in to examine this organ due to a water leak which had cascaded over the console, affecting the mechanical action, soaking the three manuals, pedalboard and drawstop action. The two single-rise bellows, situated within the basement, had also been soaked and damaged.
Over the next few months we will remove the water-damaged console from the instrument and transport it to our workshop for repairs.
The two single-rise bellows within the basement will be dismantled and re-leathered.
